Many Shades of Summer Announcement

Earlier this year, I submitted three summer-themed images for jurying into the Many Shades of Summer show, part of the City of Brighton's Eye for Art program.  This is the 16th exhibit in Brighton's ongoing series of City Hall shows, and will hang throughout the building from May 31 to September 16, 2016.  Over 220 pieces by 69 local and regional artists have been juried into the show.  I am proud to say that all three of my images (shown below) were accepted into the show.  The Opening Reception is scheduled for June 10, 2016.  To RSVP for the reception, follow the link on the exhibit website.  Otherwise, please visit Brighton City Hall during normal business hours to see all of the fabulous pieces selected for the show.

The Roxborough Arts Council Gallery is relocating due to changes in the shopping center where we are located.  The gallery closed in late May for the move, and we will be reopening in our new space once it is ready.  Please follow the progress of the move on the RoxArts website at http://www.roxartscouncil.org/.

I'm happy to announce that I'm renting space in the CoArt Gallery in Denver's Art District on Santa Fe through December and January.  I'm very excited to return to this dynamic art community after an absence of several months.  I currently have five pieces hanging in the guest artist space at the gallery, including the one below.  I will be rotating my images to keep the display interesting.  Come on out and support local artists!

November 2015 Website Refresh

November 25, 2015  •  Leave a Comment

I've spent the past few days updating my website to better present my work, and to add some new photos.  Key changes include:

- I have split my Colorado images into two galleries.  One gallery emphasizes the eastern part of the state, including the Denver area.  The other gallery emphasizes the western part of the state, including several of Colorado's national parks.

- I have improved the navigation for my landscape galleries to accommodate the new Colorado galleries and other galleries already on my website.

- I have added several new Colorado images to my website that appear in both of the new Colorado galleries.  I have also added a few new wildlife images to my wildlife gallery.  I've included two of my new images below as samples of what I have been doing recently.
